Lt. Col. David Flippo, USAF (Ret.) was joined Saturday by Congressman Jim Jordan for a packed campaign event at Sunridge Golf and Recreations in Douglas County.

RENO, NV, UNITED STATES, August 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Republican nominee for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District Lt. Col. David Flippo, USAF (Ret.) was joined Saturday by Congressman Jim Jordan for a packed campaign event at Sunridge Golf and Recreations in Douglas County.

The event drew a packed house of Republican voters, grassroots activists, elected officials, and community leaders from across Northern Nevada to hear from Flippo and Jordan as Republicans rally behind Flippo ahead of November.

Jordan addressed the crowd in support of Flippo and emphasized the importance of electing strong conservative Republicans to Congress.

The program also featured prominent Nevada leaders, including Assemblyman Greg Koenig, Assemblyman Blayne Osborne, Sheriff Brad Pope, and Douglas County Commission Chairman Mark Gardner.

The strong turnout highlighted growing grassroots enthusiasm behind Flippo’s campaign and demonstrated the depth of support across Douglas County and Northern Nevada.

Flippo, a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, served 24 years in the military, including two combat deployments to Iraq, and was awarded the Bronze Star. He is the Republican nominee for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District.
